Kenneth Sims
One of the most dominant linemen of the 80's, UT's
Kenneth Sims was an absolute destroyer
in the middle finishing his career with 29 sacks,
96 quarterback pressures and caused 15 fumbles. In
his junior year, he made 131 tackles as a defensive
tackle, including 100 solo stops. He had the quickness
of a defensive end in the body of a tackle.
He was the first Longhorn to win the Lombardi Award in 1981
even though he was constantly double and triple teamed
and suffered a leg injury. Kenneth also was a Unanimous
All American in 1981 and a Consensus All American
in 1980. Kenneth was the first pick overall in the
1982 draft played for the New England Patriots from
1982-89.Kenneth and fellow celebrity Adam Schreiber
